RAKSO Steel Wool Nr 00 / Fine is the finest (least coarse) pad in the series.
This is not a cleaning tool but a finishing tool, when the surface is desired to be smooth, matte or shiny without visible sanding marks.
Especially suitable for:
• polishing waxed wood surfaces
• intermediate sanding of lacquer and shellac surfaces
• polishing brass and copper
• cleaning copper pipes and fittings before soldering
• thin and even application of wax to wood and stone surfaces
Removes:
• light water marks from waxed wood
• oxidation from copper and brass
• minor imperfections between surface treatments
Fine (00) does not abrade the surface or cause scratches. It smooths and finishes. The flexible structure follows contours, so the pad also works on curved and detailed surfaces (e.g. furniture, musical instruments).

If the goal is a clean, smooth and finished surface, this is the right pad. If the dirt is ingrained, this is not for that.
