Frequently Asked Questions
Can I also buy products directly from the store?
– Yes, you can! You'll also receive the best expert service in the industry, along with case-specific tips and advice on product handling.
What is the delivery time for products?
– We aim to dispatch all in-stock products within 1-3 business days of the order. Deliveries are made via Matkahuolto and usually arrive in approximately 1-2 days from the dispatch date.
How much does product shipping cost?
– The shipping cost for products is always determined by the total weight of the shipment. The shipping amount will be revealed when you place your order after adding your desired products to the shopping cart. Minimum shipping is €8 (under 2 kg).
Why was my package delivered to a different pick-up point than the one I selected?
– If the package is too large for the automat or if the automat is full, the package is redirected to another nearby Matkahuolto parcel point. The recipient will be notified of the change in the arrival notification.
Questions related to boat painting
Can antifouling paints be applied over each other?
– Not all antifouling paints can be applied over each other; it's good to confirm compatibility with our store! Also, learn about antifouling products from our articles "Choosing the Right Antifouling Paint" and "Antifouling Paints."
Can Silic One Fouling Release paint be applied over traditional antifouling paint?
– Yes, it can, but remember to use intermediate products. All old, peeling paint must be removed before painting, after which Conversion Primer (1 coat) must be applied to the bottom, followed by Tie-Coat (1 coat is sufficient), and finally Silic One (2 coats).
Can I polish my boat by hand, or do I need to use a polishing machine?
– You can polish your boat by hand, but the project will take time and be hard on your hands. A shiny Gelcoat surface is hard in consistency and requires proper tools and sufficient movement to polish. It is practically impossible to achieve sufficient power by hand for polishing larger surfaces. Smaller areas that are difficult to reach with a machine, however, can be polished perfectly well by hand.
