100% wood tar made from tree stumps and the lower part of the trunk where the resin content is high.
The product is well absorbed by the wood, protecting it from moisture.
Gives the wood a beautiful, translucent, and water-repellent surface.
Wood tar can be used for impregnating boats, logs, posts, fences, and ropes.
If necessary, tar can be thinned with coniferous turpentine to improve absorption into the wood, up to 20% by volume.
Not suitable for varnished or painted surfaces.
Coverage: approx. 2-10 m2/L
Application methods: brush, cloth, or sponge.
Drying time: Does not actually dry, but absorbs into the wood. After absorption, the wood surface feels dry to the touch. Excess, unabsorbed tar is wiped away.
Color shade: Dark brown. The final shade of the surface depends on the number of layers applied and the color of the wood being treated.
