Hermann Sachse Barrel Oil is a high-quality, colorless wood oil for outdoor use. It forms a matte, varnish-like and water-repellent protective layer that preserves the natural appearance of the wood and improves the durability of the surface. The oil helps to prevent the wood from drying, cracking and flaking, and protects the surface from the effects of UV radiation and wear.
The product is particularly suitable for the treatment, restoration and protection of wooden barrels, oak barrels, garden furniture, wooden cladding, planters, rainwater barrels, standing desks and other wooden surfaces used outdoors. It also works excellently on the floors of wooden outbuildings, such as outdoor saunas. The product deepens the natural shade of the wood and beautifully highlights the wood grain.
Barrel oil contains natural vegetable oils and resins, isoaliphatics, and lead-free and cobalt-free siccatives. The oil is applied thinly with a brush, a short-pile roller or a spray gun to a clean, dry and grease-free surface. Excess oil should be wiped off approximately 10–15 minutes after application.

Mix the oil well before use. Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, dust-free, and grease-free. If necessary, lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper. Apply the oil thinly with a brush or short-pile roller and wipe off any excess oil after approximately 10–15 minutes. Do not use in direct sunlight or in excessively cold conditions.
