Hempel Wood Impreg

Preparation:Always ensure that all surfaces are clean, oil-free, and dry. Clean the surface, remove any oil and grease, then sand the surface with dry sandpaper. Carefully remove dust with fresh water.

Previously treated wood:Sand, clean, and dry the surface.

Application:Depending on the porosity of the wood, apply 2-4 coats of the product wet-on-wet. Allow the wood to absorb the oil for a few minutes and wipe off any excess with a lint-free cloth to prevent film formation. Allow the surface to dry for at least 8 hours at 20°C; 16 hours at 10°C (depending on the porosity and absorbency of the wood), then overcoat with the required Hempel varnish or paint system.

Product description: Hempel's Wood Impreg is a clear alkyd oil with good penetration properties. Used for impregnating wood before applying a varnish or paint system.

Recommended use: Can be used as a first coat on wood and solid wood surfaces, indoors and outdoors, above the waterline.
