An oil varnish for wooden boats, made from tung oil and linseed oil, reinforced with modified phenolic resin.
V.G.63 varnish has excellent moisture resistance, which is why it is used in extreme conditions, at sea, on old wooden surfaces, and in other harsh climates. Thanks to its excellent penetrating ability, the varnish has superior adhesion and forms a film that withstands the natural movement of wood without flaking.
The hardness is suitable, and the varnish is very elastic. Due to its elasticity and excellent penetrating ability, the varnish has very good adhesion, which prevents it from detaching and allows for significant movement in the wood without the surface breaking. VG.63 Clear Varnish is available in high gloss and satin matt, both with improved UV protection.
