Hempel Dura-Gloss Varnish 0.75L

Stir product well before use.

Pre-treatment:
Always make sure that all surfaces are clean, oil-free and dry.
Clean the surface and remove any oil and grease with a suitable cleaning agent, then sand the surface with dry sandpaper.
Carefully remove dust with fresh water.

Painting:
First, apply a coat of the product thinned with the recommended thinner Hempel’s Thinner 811: max. 20%.
Apply a second coat of the product thinned with: max. 10%.
Finally, apply 3 coats of the product.
If necessary, add thinner to facilitate application.
To achieve a smooth surface, sanding is recommended between coats (remove dust).

Previously varnished wood:
Apply 3 coats of the product.

Previous coat of paint: Hempel’s Wood Impreg(for new wood), Hempel’s Sealer(for plywood)

Shelf life: 5 years from the date on the lid

Product Description
Hempel's Dura-Gloss Varnish is a fast-drying, full gloss, urethane-modified alkyd varnish that makes the surface both hard and flexible. The perfect blend of UV filters makes the varnish even more durable, resulting in a long-lasting and professional-looking finish. The easy-to-apply varnish resists wear and abrasion just a few hours after application.

Recommended use
Can be used on new and previously varnished wooden surfaces above the waterline, both indoors and outdoors.
