PRE-TREATMENT:
Clean the surface of dirt and remove grease with Hempel's Pre-Clean or Hempel's Boat Shampoo if old wax does not need to be removed. Rinse with fresh water. Allow the surface to dry.
Surfaces in good condition:
Polishing compound: Hempel’s Custom Marine Polish
Next coat: Hempel’s Wax
Next coat: Hempel Wax TecCel
Surfaces in poor condition:
Polishing compound: Hempel’s Rubbing Liquid to restore gloss and colour to gelcoat and painted surfaces, and Hempel’s Custom Marine Polish.
Next coat: Hempel’s Wax
Next coat: Hempel Wax TecCel
APPLICATION:
Shake well before use.
Apply a thin layer of the product with clean and soft cloths.
Treat only small areas at a time.
Allow the surface to dry.
Polish with a clean and soft cloth or a polishing machine for more effective performance.
Change clean cloths regularly.
Use a new, clean polishing pad when using a polishing machine.
Gloss is maintained by applying additional coats when fading of gloss is observed.
Allow freshly painted surfaces to dry/cure for at least 90 days before using the product.
If repainting is required later, all wax residues must be removed using: Hempel’s Pre-Clean.
Rinse the surface with fresh water.
NOTE:
Do not expose to freezing. Do not treat in direct sunlight. Surface temperature must be above: 5°C
Gloss is maintained by applying additional coats when fading of gloss is observed.
Handle with care. Read all warning and safety texts and HEMPEL safety data sheets before use and comply with local and national regulations during use.
Maintenance and repair
– Deteriorated surfaces: Restore gloss and colour with Hempel’s Rubbing Liquid.

Painting conditions
– Apply only to a dry and clean surface, with a temperature at least 3°C [5°F] above the dew point. This will prevent condensation.
Notes
– Apply the product with a clean, dry, and soft cloth.
– Treat only small areas at a time. Allow the surface to dry for 5-10
minutes.
– Polish with a clean and soft cloth or a polishing machine to achieve a glossy surface.
– Change clean cloths regularly.

Drying time

– Temperature must not drop below 0°C [32°F] during transport and storage.
