Hempel's EcoPower Prop 7446X (Mille Drive) – Biocide-free spray paint that keeps propellers, trim tabs and sterndrives clean from growth and easy to clean. Self-renewal is controlled by advanced binder technology throughout the boating season without paint accumulation.

Precautionary statements:
Avoid breathing vapours, spray or mists. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/
eye protection/face protection. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other
ignition sources. No smoking.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor.
Store in a cool place.
Surface preparation:
Always ensure all surfaces are clean, oil-free, and dry. Clean the surface and remove any oil and grease with a suitable cleaner, then sand the surface with dry sandpaper. Carefully remove dust with fresh water.
Unpainted surface:
Apply Hempel Light Primerto the pre-treated surface, followed by Hempel Underwater Primeradhesion primer while the epoxy surface is still tacky.
Previously treated surface:
Old self-polishing or traditional antifouling paint:
Remove loose material and other contaminants by cleaning with high-pressure fresh water. Allow to dry.
Current hard antifouling paint or unknown antifouling paint:
Clean with high-pressure fresh water, wet sand, remove dust. Clean and dry the surface. If the old antifouling paint is in poor condition, apply one coat of
Hempel’s Underwater Primeradhesion primer.
If the old antifouling paint is generally in poor condition, it is recommended to remove previous layers and re-prime the surface before applying antifouling paint.
Application:
Mask off other areas, including anodes, before use. Shake well before use. Spray from a distance of 20–30 cm from the surface. Apply the product one coat at a time until the surface is smooth and even (minimum 4 coats). Shake the can periodically during use. Spray upside down at the end of spraying to clean the nozzle. Wear protective gloves/clothing and eye/face protection.
If the surface has been primed with Hempel’s Light Primeror Hempel Light Primer Sprayepoxy primer, spray the product onto the surface while the primer is still tacky.
The surface must be completely clean and dry at the time of application, and its temperature must be above the dew point to avoid condensation. Do not apply in direct sunlight. In enclosed spaces, adequate ventilation must be ensured during painting and drying.

Drying conditions
– To achieve the stated drying time, it is important to maintain adequate ventilation during painting, drying, and curing.
– Condensation on a freshly applied coat should be avoided.
Notes on recoating
– The product has no maximum recoating interval, but before recoating, carefully clean soiled surfaces with high-pressure fresh water wash and allow them to dry.
Storage conditions
– The product must be stored in accordance with local legislation requirements, at a temperature of 5°C [41°F], protected from direct sunlight, rain, and snow.
