Hempel Dura-Satin Varnish 0.75L

Stir product well before use.

Surface preparation:
Always ensure all surfaces are clean, oil free and dry. Clean the surface and remove any oil and grease with a suitable detergent and then sand the surface with dry sandpaper. Carefully remove dust with fresh water.

Application:
Apply first coat of product thinned with Hempel’s Thinner 811: max 20%.
Apply a second coat of product thinned: max 10%.
Finally apply 3 coats of product. If required, add thinner to ease application.
For a smooth surface, sanding between coats is recommended (remove dust).

Previously varnished wood:
Apply 3 coats of product.

Previous coat: Hempel’s Wood Impreg(for new wood), Hempel’s Sealer(for plywood)

Shelf life: 5 years from date of production on lid

Product Description
Hempel's Dura-Satin Varnish is a fast-drying, urethane-alkyd varnish that provides a silky, semi-gloss finish. It is resistant to wear and abrasion just a few hours after application. Excellent resistance to seawater, sunlight, and harsh weather conditions.

Recommended Use
Can be used on new and previously varnished wooden surfaces above the waterline, both indoors and outdoors.
