First use:
Hempel’s Pre-Clean
Application:
Moisten the surface with fresh water.
Apply a layer of the product.
Apply the powder in an even layer with a brush.
The surface must be kept sufficiently moist for the powder to remain wet.
After about 10–15 minutes, while the powder is still moist, scrub the surface thoroughly with a stiff brush.
Clean the surface thoroughly with clean fresh water.
The treatment can be repeated depending on the painting conditions.
Avoid contact with stainless steel.
Do not treat in direct sunlight.
Does not harm fiberglass, paint or varnish surfaces.
Use wax or polish for protection from contact with stainless steel.
Hempel Colour Restorer can be used on teak decks and other wooden surfaces subject to heavy wear ONLY if the surface is overcoated with Hempel Teak Oil.
Exposure to air and temperature fluctuations should be avoided.
Avoid direct sunlight.
Keep tightly closed.
Store at temperatures: 5°C – 35°C
After this, use: Hempel’s Teak Oil, Hempel’s Teak Colour Restorer
Painting conditions
– Apply only to dry and clean surfaces with a temperature of at least 3°C [5°F] above the dew point. This prevents condensation.

– The product contains acidic components. Stainless steel parts must not come into contact with the product, as this may cause discoloration.

Notes on overcoating
– One coat is usually recommended.
Storage conditions
– The product must be stored in accordance with local regulations, at a temperature of 5°C [41°F], protected from direct sunlight, rain and snow.
