New wood surface: 1. Sanding. 2. 1xEggshell 5-10% thinned with Thinner 811. 3. The next four coats unthinned. Light sanding and dust removal between coats are recommended. Allow the coats to dry thoroughly.
Previously varnished surfaces in good condition: 1. Sand with paper. 2. Remove dust. 3. 2xEggshell. Surfaces in poor condition and grey surfaces should be sanded down to the wood. Touch up varnish to full film thickness before the final coat. New or bare teak surfaces treated with degreaser should first be primed with Spinnaker Polyurethanefor 1-2 coats.
