Product description: Ready-to-use water-soluble mold inhibitor The substance penetrates the pores of the surface and protects, for example, wood from mold in humid conditions. The mold inhibitor can also be used to clean surfaces that have already been moldy. Product specification: The mold inhibitor contains quaternary ammonium compounds, benzyl-C12-, 16-alkyldimethyl, and chlorine <1%. Novitrol 485 is a so-called approved wood preservative chemical. Note! The substance must be protected from freezing.
Applications: For mold protection of wood and mineral-based building materials and structures, and for disinfecting moldy surfaces (mold removal). NOVITROL 485 is effective against bacteria, yeasts, molds, and algae.
Instructions for use: Novitrol 485 can be applied to the surface to be treated with a brush, paint roller, by dipping, or by spraying (remember protective equipment!). Apply 2–4 dl/m2 of the solution to the surface. The effect on microbe-infested substrates is immediately apparent by the cessation of odor formation. When washing the surface, the dirty solution is removed, but the treated surfaces are not rinsed.
