APPLICATION:Hold the can upright and shake it vigorously until you hear the mixing ball; then continue shaking for another 2 minutes. Shake the can occasionally during use. Spray upside down at the end of spraying to clear the nozzle. Please note that spray painting may provide a thinner layer per coat than other methods. Apply several coats to achieve the specified film thickness. Exposure to air and temperature fluctuations should be avoided. Avoid direct sunlight. Keep tightly closed. Store at temperatures: 5°C/41°F – 35°C/95°F. There is no maximum time limit specified for overcoating, but if the surface has come into contact with oil or other contaminants, remove them carefully with a suitable cleaner, rinse the surface with fresh water, and allow to dry. Lightly sand the surface and remove dust before repainting the surface.
Surface preparation:Always ensure that all surfaces are clean, oil-free, and dry. Clean the surface and remove any oil and grease with a suitable cleaner, then sand the surface with dry sandpaper.
Unpainted surface:Roughening the surface is recommended to ensure optimal adhesion. Remove dust and loose material. Clean and dry the surface.
Previously treated surface:Remove old antifouling paint layers, primer, and loose material. Remove dust and loose material. Clean and dry the surface.
Painting:Cover other areas, including anodes, before use. Shake well before use. Spray from a distance of 20–30 cm from the surface. Apply the product one coat at a time until the surface is smooth and uniform. Shake the can occasionally during use. Spray upside down at the end of spraying to clear the nozzle. Overcoat with the selected antifouling paint. At the time of painting, the surface must be completely clean and dry, and its temperature must be above the dew point to avoid condensation. Do not treat in direct sunlight. In enclosed spaces, adequate ventilation must be provided during painting and drying.
