Le Tonkinois wood stain is a wood tinting color and finishing oil for wooden surfaces. The oil stain provides a water-repellent and durable color.
Compared to traditional painting systems, the use of natural oils ensures a more even color and a consistent surface texture.
For outdoor use, to increase UV protection, weather resistance, seawater resistance, and wear resistance, the surface should be finished with Le Tonkinois oil varnish or Le Tonkinois Marine N°1 boat varnish. The oil stain resists wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk, and water without leaving stains.
Le Tonkinois wood stain can be used for priming or finishing untreated, heavily stressed wooden surfaces indoors and outdoors, such as boat decks and structures, wooden floors, wooden tables, and kitchen countertops. Surfaces subject to heavy stress should be finished with, for example, Le Tonkinois varnish
