BEFORE PAINTING, USE FOR CLEANING:
HEMPEL'S PRE-CLEAN
Always ensure that all surfaces are clean, oil-free, and dry. Clean the surface and remove any oil and grease withHEMPEL'S PRE-CLEANand then sand the surface with dry sandpaper. Carefully remove dust with fresh water.
PAINTING:
Example 1 – AF-painted propeller.
– First, remove the old antifouling paint.
– Apply one coat ofHEMPEL LIGHT PRIMERthinned by 20%, and then one coat thinned by a maximum of 5%.
– Apply one coat ofHEMPEL SILIC ONE TIECOATover the Light Primer at the earliest 4 hours (20°C), or at the latest 72 hours later. In cold weather (10°C), apply at the earliest 6 hours and at the latest 72 hours later.
– Apply 1 coat (as much as possible) of SILIC ONE Propeller Paint to the surface at the earliest 8 hours (20°C), or at the latest 48 hours after SILIC ONE TIECOAT treatment. In cold weather (10°C), apply at the earliest 16 hours and at the latest 48 hours later.

POT LIFE:1 hour after opening the can.
If the surface has come into contact with oil or other contaminants, carefully remove them with a suitable cleaning agent, rinse the surface with fresh water, and allow to dry. Lightly sand the surface and remove dust before repainting.
Launching:
Earliest:After 24 hours
Latest:Within 1 month.

If medical attention is needed, show the package or warning label. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid breathing vapors, spray, or mists. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Protect from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. No smoking. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor.
Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local, regional, national, and international regulations.
Storage: Exposure to air and temperature fluctuations should be avoided. Avoid direct sunlight. Keep tightly closed. Store at temperatures: 5°C – 35°C.
